Chennai Film School was started in the year 2003 and is providing quality education in filmmaking and visual media. The institute is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University and it offers 1-year diploma courses in film studies. To provide in-depth knowledge to the students about the various concepts of film domains, the film school follows a structured curriculum which satisfies the needs of the film industry requirements. The film school conducts filmmaking workshops, guest lectures, training, and seminars by professionals in the film industry. Apart from classroom education, the students are given exposure to gain real-time experience. The school allows the students to attend film festivals and take part in modelling, outdoor shooting, and indoor shooting. Educational tour and industrial visits are compulsory for the students.
