South India Film Institute (SIFI) was established in the year 1994 to offer film education. It is a private film school which has received ISO 9001:2015 certificate. The institute offers various short term intermediate courses, long term professional courses and diploma courses in film making. SIFI also offers correspondence courses through distance education mode. The courses offered at SIFI are affiliated by the Government of Tamil Nadu and National Council of Vocational Training & Education (NCVTE). The faculty of SIFI includes well-experienced media professionals, technicians and artists. The institute has its own unique syllabus covering all the technical aspects of film making as per the international standards. SIFI students will be provided with separate course materials and books. The institute also conducts camping classes and workshops in various districts of Tamil Nadu. The SIFI students who are in need can take education loan and instrument loan available in the institute. Through an integrated course schedule, SIFI helps the students to explore the art of filmmaking and prepares them to achieve their dreams.
